The Crowd and The Cloud
Gerd Leonard posted a great video on his blog Media Futurist about The Crowd and The Cloud. Quote from the blog:

“Yes, indeed. A CROWD of 1.5 Billion people on the Net, plus 3.5 Billion people on mobile phones. A computing CLOUD that allows endless storage of, and access to, content, media, data, software, MYStuff, at ever lower cost pretty anytime anywhere….”

This is the kind of thing that makes a budding online entrepreneur in the music industry hopeful. I read concepts like this and I know that today is the first day of the rest of my life.
